Dear %CUST1%,
We’ve had a very busy few months here at Stratton Craig. As well as working with our regular clients, we have added a number of new ones to our books, writing for a broad range of subjects.
We’ve done work for Tesco, Walls, Savills, Royal Bank of Scotland, and BT. We have also managed a huge internal communications project for one of the Big Four accountancy firms (more on this below) and even written a speech for the Mayor of London.
In addition to focusing on producing copy of the highest standards, we’ve been busy growing both our in-house, and freelance teams. We welcome Mary Valiakas as an in-house member of staff. She will be working closely with me in project management and copywriting.
A warm welcome also to our four new freelance writers, each of whom brings a diverse range of skills to the business. They are: Menna Davies; Sue Starkie; Dr Danny Penman; and Gabi Woolgar. You can find their detailed profiles on our website.
Give us a call to see how we can help.

Internal communications
“It’s been great working with Stratton Craig; very reassuring, and the writers have been great about coping with the flow of info and feedback – thanks for all your support.” SAS
We have just wrapped up one of our big summer wins, a complete internal communications exercise for one of the Big Four accountancy firms. We put two of our top writers on the project, which involved everything from power point presentations to training manuals and an intranet site. The subject matter was extremely complex, but our writers did an excellent job and worked together to ensure clarity and consistency of message.

Annual reports
As the year draws to a close, companies are starting to think about their annual reports. Some of our most recent annual report work, from conception right through to interviewing senior people and writing all copy, includes the London Development Agency, South West RDA, Health and Safety Laboratories, and United Utilities.
If you’re in the stages of planning an annual report give us a call to see how we can help.

| Websites
We’re also working on more websites than ever. We’ve recently completed some work on the Visit Wales site (visitwales.co.uk), Monster.co.uk, as well as sites on subjects as diverse as law, energy, and travel.
Web copy has its own very specific style, entirely different from print, and we have copywriters skilled in this type of writing.

| Working with Stratton Craig
Established in 1987 we are one of the longest running writing teams in the UK. We have writers and account managers in-house as well as a wider team of between 15 and 20 specialist writers. Because of the nature of our team it means we can answer almost any brief. We have writing experts in a range of subjects, from financial services to education, tourism, food and health. We can deal with everything from newsletters to website copy, and from annual reports to speeches.
Working with Stratton Craig means:
- You have one point of contact who will manage the project for you
- At least two pairs of eyes on the project because our in-house team proofread all work, ensuring it is on-brief
- You don’t have to worry about whether you have chosen the right writer for the project because we know our writers and can choose the right one
- We are able to work to very tight deadlines
- We have an excellent track record, providing copy for a number of blue-chip clients including Vodafone, Royal Bank of Scotland, Hilton and the London Development Agency.
