| Dear [Firstname],
Welcome to The Copywriter – Stratton Craig’s new monthly newsletter. It’s a snapshot of what we’re up to and a chance to demonstrate that we’re continuing to work across many different sectors and media, always delivering original, thought-provoking copy.
We’ve also refreshed our website and produced a new Stratton Craig brochure – see this on the new website (www.strattoncraig.co.uk) or look out for your copy in the post.
We hope you enjoy reading about what we’re writing!

Explaining autism in plain English
Stratton Craig has been helping Vodafone promote its charity work with the National Autistic Society. We developed headlines and copy for a booklet explaining how differently someone with autism sees the world. It was a sensitive project and the National Autistic Society told us how moved they were by the copy.

Shaking up Dixons’ speak
Dixons recently brought Stratton Craig on board to help redefine its tone of voice. This was part of a re-branding exercise to make all its stores more consumer friendly. The writers developed copy guidelines setting out a new, funkier tone of voice, which will be used for all new POS and other corporate literature.

Art attack
Working with its sister company Impact Publishing, Stratton Craig has written and designed a brochure for St Barbe Museum and Art Gallery in Lymington, Hampshire. St Barbe’s is a small museum, but one with excellent facilities so can often display pieces from top London galleries like The Tate and The National Maritime Museum. It wanted the brochure to help raise money for the museum so it can continue to put on such impressive exhibitions.

A writer for all seasons
Come rain or shine Stratton Craig gets the job done and that’s exactly what it did for the Met Office – and won an award for its work! We wrote the Met Office’s annual report and along with designers Bell Design and Communications, received an Award of Excellence at the 2005 Communications in Business Awards. Stratton Craig also produced the Met Office’s stakeholder magazine – a lifestyle magazine with all the latest news about weather services.
